Post 6: Postgraduate Studies

Hello, everyone, how are you? I must honestly say that I haven't considered the idea of doing a postgraduate degree in the future, nowadays I just focus on what I'm studying now and on getting my degree. We don't know what opportunities might come our way and I'm open to that and to changing the way things are done. However, if I had to choose one, I would like to study one based on choreography, to be able to go deeper into it, to learn more about composition and to incorporate those tools into my work in dance.I think that choreographic work can create wonderful things and make your creativity explode. For what I have looked for, here in Chile there are not many postgraduate courses about that, but there are specializations that I would like to take. Even so, I would prefer to learn it abroad, so that I can also nourish myself with other languages and perspectives of Dance. I would like to study completely in a face-to-face way, since in Dance the contact and the lis

Post 5: My future job

I am not very good at planning the things I want to do, but at least I have an idea of what I would like to work on in the future. Obviously working in Dance, I like teaching very much, so I imagine myself as a Dance teacher in some University or Dance Company as I like to see people's processes. I don't know specifically what style of dance I like, as I like several, such as Contemporary Dance, Modern Dance, Urban Dance, among others, but in reality I enjoy any of these equally. I would love to travel around all the countries I could, especially Europe and the United States, more than anything to get to know the recognized academies of those places and also to learn different body languages that nourish my dance.  About the salary, this is a little uncertain, but I also feel that it depends on the value that each one gives to himself on the way. Nowadays I give private lessons so I put the value of these myself. Despite the fact that they say that "Art cannot be lived&quo

Post 4: What are you really into?

Hi everyone, What I like to do the most without a doubt is dance, I know it is something I study, but I do it for the same reason, because I enjoy it, and in this quarentine, even though the space in my house is more reduced than that of a dance room, I have been able to go deeper into it and myself. Today I am doing classes of "Urban Dance" fused with the tools of Contemporary Dance, it is something that I have been investigating in this time and I like to share it with the others.I like to be able to transmit sometime beyond just dance steps, for me Dance is not only that, there is also a constant observation of the body where I am discovering and finding new things about myself, new time, energies, spaces and places inside and outside of me that lead me to move. For the same reason, I am constantly taking classes and observing in each one of them what resonates in me, what it transmits to me, what I can recognize and what I cannot. I consider myself a personan who loves w

Post 3: The most embarrassing thing i'm willing to admit.

I remember when I went with my best friend to the beach, we were 17 years old, we went with her family for a few days. One of those days, we were swimming in the sea and the waves were very strong, but we decided to stay there because the heat was unbearable. While we were there, swimming,  I got distracted and stayed still looking the other way, big mistake, because without realizing it, a big wave came and threw me off and dragged me along the beach. That's not all, at the moment I stood up, very embarrassed because there were many people watching, I looked at my best friend and she signs me to look at my bathing suit, I look at myself and I realize that I was without a bathing suit because the intensity of the waves had taken it away from me. It was very embarrassing, there were many people there and the truth is I couldn't even look if anyone had seen me or not, I just covered up and put my bathing suit back on and went to sit on the beach with my friend's family without

Post 2: My best vacation/ concert

Hello everyone! How are you? My best vacation was in January of this year when I traveled to Southern Chile. I was going to Concepción, but I ended up in Los Angeles, where I visited Salto del Laja. I went with my family, my grandparents, uncle, brother and cousins. We stayed two weeks and I ended up meeting my best friend in the same place, it was unexpected but a nice coincidence. With my family we traveled around Concepción because we did not know it, and at Salto del Laja we were camping in an enclosure that was next to the river and we shared a bonfire at night with my friend and her family. Sincerely I have had a good vacation but this has been the best because it was unexpected and besides I met my best friend in her favorite place, the Laja River, that place is super important for her because since she was a little girl she goes camping there, and meeting him with her was the best!
