Post 5: My future job

I am not very good at planning the things I want to do, but at least I have an idea of what I would like to work on in the future.

Obviously working in Dance, I like teaching very much, so I imagine myself as a Dance teacher in some University or Dance Company as I like to see people's processes. I don't know specifically what style of dance I like, as I like several, such as Contemporary Dance, Modern Dance, Urban Dance, among others, but in reality I enjoy any of these equally.

I would love to travel around all the countries I could, especially Europe and the United States, more than anything to get to know the recognized academies of those places and also to learn different body languages that nourish my dance. 

About the salary, this is a little uncertain, but I also feel that it depends on the value that each one gives to himself on the way. Nowadays I give private lessons so I put the value of these myself. Despite the fact that they say that "Art cannot be lived" is not something that worries me today, but that it will also depend on how much you move.

Despite wanting to work as a teacher, I don't refuse the possibility of working as a performer or choreographer either.

Hello everyone, today I´m going to talk about my favorite book. First of all, I will start by saying that my favorite author is Ken Follett. He is a British writer of thrillers and hitorical novels, so you can see that the types of books I enjoy reading are the novels about wars, because they deal with the history of the world and that is a subject that interests me.  I have a favorite book and this is " The Fall of the Giants" I like it because it covers facts of history, how the First World War originated and the context of it, dealing with the history of families who lived through it. The last book I read was "The Pillars of the Earth" which was set in the Middle Ages, this is about the construction of a church and the ambition of the master builder that this would be the most beautiful church ever seen at that time. Hi everyone! Today I'm going to talk to you about one of the people that I admire in the Dance. I honestly had a hard time choosing one, I think that within the world of the Dance there are very good people in what they do and each one of them has something that you can learn from. However, I chose my first teacher in the Dance. She is Valentina Matus, she is Chilean, she is about 32 years old, she studied at the Arcis University and now she works as a teacher in my old school where I met her. There she teaches Contemporary Dance and prepares students for Ballroom competitions.  I admire this teacher because she not only taught me to Dance but also taught me that being human is not separate from being artist, she pushed me to do what I loved and always believed in me. I think that a good teacher does that, she urges you to believe in yourself, more than just teaching you thetechnique of the Dance, she also teaches you to be brave and look at the potential you have.
